After Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's shock reunion was confirmed this week, Matt Damon weighed in on his Good Will Hunting co-star's big news.
Discussing the couple rekindling their romance at the Stillwater premiere, Damon told Extra: "I’m just so happy for him. He's the best. He deserves every happiness in the world. I’m glad for both of them."
Seventeen years after they called off their engagement, 'Bennifer' confirmed they are officially back together with a photo of the pair kissing in an Instagram post on the pop star's account celebrating her 52nd birthday.
After their whirlwind engagement in the early noughties, both went on to marry (Ben with Jennifer Garner and Jen with Marc Anthony), have children and divorce, but they have finally found their way back to one another.

Damon also discussed his upcoming film The Last Duel, which he wrote in collaboration with Affleck, over 20 years after the pair first wrote Good Will Hunting together.
"It was a lot of fun," Damon said. "We actually kind of figured out how to write a lot more efficiently this time."
Looking back on their hit 1997 film, Damon added: "We didn’t know what we were doing. It took us a long time because we were just kind of winging it, but we’ve learned a thing or two in the last 30 years, and so it was a more professional process this time around."

The Last Duel, which stars Adam Driver and Jodie Comer alongside Damon and Affleck, is a historical drama based on the 2004 Eric Jager book of the same name, being directed by Ridley Scott. Damon takes the lead as a knight in the 14th century who challenges his squire (Driver) to a duel.
Filming initially started in February of last year, aiming to release at Christmas, but had to take an extended hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was finally able to go ahead in September this year. The first trailer dropped last week.
The Last Duel is set to release in cinemas on October 15.
